Here at ohsococo we LOVE Wes Anderson and with titles like The Royal Tenenbaums, Fantastic Mr Fox and The Darjeeling Limited under his belt, who wouldn’t? His latest work, Moonrise Kingdom, utilises his distinctive visual (and vintage) style leaving us feeling really excited.
It tells the tale of two sweethearts, in the summer of 1965, who are inspired to run away together from their New England town. This leaves the adults to embark on a mission to find the run-aways. Even the poster looks absolutely magical and looks who is starring in it too. A good few of our faves!!

Look out for Wes Andersons quirky styling and details as well as some GORGEOUS 60’s fashion inspiration. We feel inspired already. So bring out the shift dress and your oversized sunnies :)

This Jubilee marks 60 years of The Queen's reign and the Diamond Jubilee celebrations will centre around this coming weekend (which is extended over there... lucky). The Queen came to the throne on 6 February 1952 and her coronation took place on 2 June 1953. She celebrated her Silver Jubilee (25 years) in 1977 and her Golden Jubilee (50 years) in 2002.

What better way to celebrate with the queen than to get a fabulous hat. And we've found just the place. Bee Smiths crazy collection are bound to cause a frenzy. She makes use of everything from teacups to strawberries and cream to moustaches for Movember.

These gorgeous creations are a must have for the Jubilee. Ohsococo's fav collection is the Rockit Vintage Collection  featuring classic pieces from 1920 - 1940:

Gorgeous, arent they? Go check out the Bee Smith website here

Solestruck feat Wild at Heart Vintage

I recently came across a fab shoe brand called Solestruck. In Feb they ran a vintage month where they posted looks to their blog using shoes from their Department of Antiquities (their stunning vintage shoe department ;) ). Go look at the Solestruck Blog for loads of shoe inspiration and looks.

They recently shot an editorial with Kelley Ash and Graham Dunn, where they roadtripped across California shooting in little hidden spots that only the locals would know. AND they where wearing AMAZING vintage clothing from Wild at Heart Vintage. Have a look at the gorg shots they created and don't forget to have a look at the 'Wild at Heart Vintage' Etsy <3

Kelley Ash shot by Graham Dunn for Solestruck.com, featuring the Unif HellboundElly Clay Double Take Bootie, and the Jeffrey Campbell Tripoli.

Have a look at the rest of their lookbook here.

Louboutin along with still life photographer Peter Lippmann collaborated for his AW 11/12 lookbook. Lippman has used famous portraits and reinterpreted them in a modern context.

“The historic models depicted within the gallery embody the spirit of the Christian Louboutin woman; each portrait acts as a setting for key creations from the upcoming collection twinned with the artist whose individual technique and subject defines their distinct character,” says Louboutin.

Gaga for aquilano e rimondi

Lady Gaga wowed fans in a fabulous outfit on her way to x-factor in a twenties style ensemble. Gaga completed the look with a Chanel pearl necklace, sensational hexagonal sunnies,  python-print five-strap platform silk pumps and white gloves. Roberto Rimondi explains that they are 'maximalists' adorning their garments in gorgeously rich artisanal detail.

The highlight of the aquilano e rimondi Spring summer show in Milan was by far the gorgeous shoes. As skirts became shorter in the 1920's, shoes also became a focal point of fashion. They became more refined coming to a slight point and adding a strap so they stayed on firmly while dancing the night away to jazz. You can see the similarities with the use of silk (used in the 1920's too) and the exaggerated straps. A stunning interpretation. <3
