A Piece of Marie

So we all know that here at ohsococo we are completely obsessed with Marie. But, if you want your own piece of Miss Antoinette expect to pay a costly fee. Her tiny shoes went for a massive £36,000 on a recent auction. They were sold at a French Revolution Era Artefacts auction in Toulan, France. The indulgent queens shoes sold for more than 14 times their asking price and are believed to have been worn with a white gown and matching tricolour headpiece at the first ever Bastille Day celebration in 1790.
Of course if you cant afford the £36,000 that fan forked out, you can always try these gorgeous guys from Christian Louboutin. Based on the glorious ship Marie Antoinette wore in her hair

Ohsococo loves the pink pair especially on style icon Dita Von Teese

till next time
